Meet Greg
Greg Smith is a Human Resources (HR) leader bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and health technology sectors. Throughout his career, Greg has played a key role in shaping dynamic company cultures that prioritize collaboration, innovation, and high performance. His leadership roles at Alcyone Therapeutics, Seres Therapeutics, and Biogen Idec (now Biogen) have deepened his expertise in strategic HR program design, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and HR operations. A key focus throughout his career has been aligning HR initiatives with corporate objectives, which fosters environments where employees thrive, and organizational goals are met.
Greg holds a Master's degree in Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
At HAYA Therapeutics, Greg is responsible for building a strong HR infrastructure that enables HAYA's international growth by designing programs that further cultivate the company's positive culture and ensure that the organization has the tools to attract, nurture, and retain talent.
